Re: Baker Conditions Thread

If you hadn't deduced from the cover photo, Baker is pretty setup right now for mid to high tide. Line up the right dub and a little more swell and a good time could be had. Blowin it up!

Re: Baker Conditions Thread

Not bad this morning at high tide. Lots of short peaky berms up and down the beach; not much sider action, but decent bowly shorebreak at north end. Dub supposed to turn onshore so the window might be closed for a few dias

Re: Baker Conditions Thread

what's the Cake looking like these days? Anyone skimming?

And for what it's worth, I've seen less than a handful of skimable days at Rodeo/Cron in the last couple decades. Coarse sand and huge trough equal no fun zone. South end is a little better though.

I'll probably be out there this afternoon if w's stay favorable... little NW swell bump plus the low tide could equal some good things jabronies

Re: Baker Conditions Thread

It actually wasn't bad. Dub kicked up right after I got there, but the beach is kind of set up, short but steepish. Chances are high that I'll be out there tomorrow morning if anyone wants to skim

Re: Baker Conditions Thread

ANybody check it recently? Seems like this little west swell, plus the moderate or even offshore dub for the next few days might make it rideable. no idea how the beach is setup although the winch POD isn't making me optimistic... I'll probably give it a look tomorrow morning anyway but wouldn;t min...

Re: Baker Conditions Thread

pretty fun this evening. sand is kind of set up, probably best on mid or lowish tide, although it was a little too low while I was there. I'll be out at some point tomorrow, hopefully the glass continues...

Re: Bodega conditions thread...

not to derail this nonsense-fest too much, but how's it looking in Bodeg for the next couple days? I was out there last thursday and it was one of the more epic skim days I've had in a while; thanks to 425 for the 411. Anyone going to be out there/is the setup still prime?

camping at grey whale

Anyone ever camped there? The only worry I have is that po/rangers might check on cars that stay in the lot overnight/

Re: Montara Report

thanks for the tip man, skimmed grey whale on the upcoming yesterday until about 5:30; pretty fun. Slope's not bad, nice decent little swell rolling through, glass all afternoon oooowweeeeeee.

And yep, it was that day when my board broke. It's always the last run that does it...
