Re: Baker Conditions Thread

Doubt it. I've been watching it over the last couple days and the beach has flattened out pretty bad. Almost everything is breaking way too far out.

Re: SF...

Agreed, the orange and black looks awesome. I would have said it sooner, but I've been celebrating since Saturday night. Cross your fingers for 4 more wins.

Re: Baker Conditions Thread

Nice weather yesterday. Waves were a little tough to get to though. I couldn't get there until 6 so hopefully the higher tide will be better today.

Re: OB

Anyone heading out today? I haven't taken a look recently, but the weather is so nice I figured I would just go out anyways. I was planning on just going to Baker, but I could go to OB if it's still set up.

Re: OB

Baker was looking pretty bad yesterday, the swell is just too small right now. Tides seem a little low as well. I don't know how OB is, but I wouldn't even bother going to Baker.

Just thought I'd point out that both Baker and States have public barbeques.

Thinking either Baker or OB Thursday. Think it will still be good/anyone else heading out? Should be the best weather of the week.

Yeah, my bad. The cheap flights don't start till december. Still, $129 might be worth the wait.

Re: Baker Conditions Thread

Today was great weather, no wetsuit required. The waves were a little hard to get to, but the smaller sets were reachable. Potter was getting the big ones and making us look silly. I would recommend going out tomorrow and trying to catch the last day of this great weather before the fog and dub come...

Re: Baker Conditions Thread

Went out to Baker today about 2 or 3 hours before high tide. Beach is set up alright, it looked better at the north end and some decent sized sets came through. Dub was in full effect, very choppy and tough to drop. With a drop in w, it looks like it could get pretty fun.

Re: Bodega conditions thread...

If you can, I highly recommend using fresh aloe vera on it. Just cut a bit off the plant, remove the outer layer and rub it on the rash. It dries out the rash and makes the itch less intense. Bottled aloe vera doesn't work as well though.

Re: Baker Conditions Thread

This seems more like a "between santa cruz and san francisco" thread than just baker so i thought I would post what I saw saturday. Gray Whale was breaking way too far out, Montara was troughing everywhere but states looked like it was starting to set up well. The w was too much on saturday, but the...
