^Haha yes that's because there has been no good skim besides one fun day that Kevlar and I had at Omars (the small beach after Guese where the road dips down). Only other thing that had looked promising is rivermouth liners, but I haven't checked it at the proper tide.

really not funny but that comment just made me laugh my ass off!!...speaking off I spotted a baby (?) whale swimming 20 feet away from me on my way back from a giant pacheco peak at the beach last swell. That was really cool to me!

He Deebo what's the surf been up to this week end with all that combo swell and windows of calm w? Wright's working good on combo swells at all? I'm getting hooked on Bodega bay, such a chill and pristine place!!!

Well unfortunately it looks like the annual Spring dub pattern has set in, so not too much going on now. Good thing we ran Cramik Cup event 2 when we did! I mean you may be able to get some ok waves if you get out there early enough before it get's blown out, but the swell will probably be kind of chopped up and there most likely won't be anything too epic for a few weeks. Hopefully it will be one of those rare years where we don't get the funky relentless dub pattern though...

the beach set up looks off the hook for surf/boogie on larger winter swells...def wanna take a look at it next season if it's cool with the bodega crew!

yup w been blowing hard but weather has been nice, hoping for a nice hot summer, trunks on and skimskimskim

Yeah let me know anytime you're thinking of cruising out. Still horribly dubby, which has brought the water temp down to 46 degrees right now! Don't think I've ever seen it that cold out here.

^We actually had a decent session at Wrights today before the w picked up, literally the only beach with waves: Washing machine liners south of the usual point.

Sweet to hear you guys found something. We ended up skimming Salmon on Saturday where there were crappy waves but nice weather at least. Actually was nice and calm all weekend through today. Another place to keep an eye on is Deadcow Cove this time of year. Actually were some fun looking waves and nice sand there yesterday evening for the mid tide. Looks like the Cove may be returning soon too...

^I'm trying, but it hurts. Can't really run full speed or swim yet and have to really try to avoid falling, so it's pretty frustrating. Happy to just be able to actually slide around though.
