Nice! I skimmed it the next day and it "was" half bad. Too much of that south west swell actually when I was there, but still managed to get a few fun one's in between sets and didn't drowned. So a good day it was!

I won't get my hopes up too high, but I'm seeing signs (forecasts) that show the dub finally chilling out for next week...Time to get back in skim shape!

The Cove was setup pretty good and fun today with really nice weather. Had a pretty fun winch session with Josh and Chris. Hopefully these incoming long period swells don't screw up the slope...

If you're heading to the cove or anywhere else not terribly far from Marin hit me up! Looking to get together with some people to skim but I don't know anyone. I live in San Rafael maybe we can carpool

We're probably going to be skimming out in Bodega somewhere this weekend. I'll post up where I think we might be headed as it gets closer. I live in Santa Rosa right now so carpool won't really work with me lol

Haha well shoot looks like we might be in for a little rain and first moderate north swell of the season for the beginning part of the weekend. If that ends up being the case Bodega will probably be not so good and I most likely will head up to Mendocino. There's a couple spots that were ok last weekend and setup really good, but needed more swell to fire.

Friday through Sunday are looking really good for Wright's and or Portuguese forecast wise. Not sure how the sand is setup after all this dub and swell, but hopefully Wright's will be setup steeper than it's been. It's been ok, but the sand slope has been flat with lots of deadwater to get though. Anyway I'm going to check it out the next couple of days and will report back in case anybody cares to hit it up...
