Some pretty sick pics from a place that gets so little rep. I recognize Trinidad and Big Lagoon. The lagoon looks just as creepy as I always imagined it. I imagine a lot of those wide open beaches would be better on some smaller, organized, summer swells. Keep posting pics dude, thanks for sharing.

Best bet is Wilson Creek/False Klamath at high tide. Super consistent this time of year with a south swell under ten feet.
Heres some pics from last season

Skimmed Big Lagoon? (right off the freeway to the left heading north) and what I believe is the beach in that^^ last pic, I could barely see the point, but I think I was on the other side of the rocks on a smaller break. By the time I got up there it was around 6 oclock and freezing cold and I sucked big time. I saw one other guy out at a dif really long beach right off the highway, but I had already changed back into dry clothes and it just looked too small and cold. Had a ton of fun in Humbolt, Oregon City, and Klamath. What is the beach with that GIGANTIC sandbar that stretches for a mile or so, that was impressive. Also if you're ever in Oregon and someone tells you there are waves at a beach called Seaside, don't believe them, I drove almost two hours for ankle biters.

Probably not Big Lagoon, Big lagoon is one of the gnarliest shorebreak beaches in Humboldt, been like 6 deaths there in the last few years. The last pics I posted were from Wilson Creek, which is right after Klamath before Crescent City. The beach with the sandbar is probably Clam Beach which is next to my hometown of McKinleyville. You may have skimmed freshwater lagoon which is after Big Lagoon before the town of Orick
