Next time the buoy is at 2 to 3 feet tell me how good baker is. The best sessions I have had at baker are when the buoy is between 6 to 8 feet, which doesn't mean baker is huge but big enough to break with some power behind it. And sorry to be a downer but OB can be counted out, go check it this week and you will agree.

Though this whole back and forth seems to be just a continuation of a yearly tradition of rooting for the home beach, I have kept out of it for the most part. As the time gets closer though, I have to start throwing some spokes in the wheels. Swell wise, as of now, it looks like its going to be in roughly the 3-5ft range. As far as dub goes... While w forecasts are pretty crappy even a day in advance, as of now they are looking quite strong for San Francisco. The Cove is looking like a better bet with no dub in the morning and then some sort of progression in the afternoon. Deebo and I are going surfing tomorrow but I think I'm going to see what the sand looks like tomorrow at the Cove and I'll let you all know how its looking... That sand moves around so much, you never know how its going to look.

Davey Crocket! If you are reading this... do you think I'm going to get my board by The Fest?

Still no location picked out huh?...figures.
I should be skimming after work each day, instead I'm kicking it with my buddy Mr. Ice and being forced to watch Judge Judy marathons. I am jealous of all of you people with properly working knees

^Haha ya I was gonna mention that. Could make parking at Baker a little difficult lol.

BTW Today we skimmed the Cove and while not that great, as expected with the big junky dub swell, there were some fun one's caught (including secondary sider connections) and slope is still there. Surprised it didn't get wiped out or at least shelved from the recent bouts of big swell. I will try and get some pics tomorrow...
