After last Sat epic session (nice to meet the crew btw) today looked horrible, no w but too much tide around 10am, cruised down the one to Scott's creek, looked ugly, rain started in SC, got back to Montara with a better tide but way too much w, junky looking, and Moscow weather...

A few fun ones today skimmed for hours...

I believe I saw a SHARK out there cruising the outside bar, so watch out if you plan on surfing!!!

hehe....

I'm looking at pics online to try to identify the beast, from the dorsal fin it looked like it could have been a killer whale as unlikely as it seems, def not a dolphin, that things was swimming in one mean way!

There was also a baby seal that kept trying swimming to the shore 20 min before the sighting.

Looked good at first but it wasn't really happening...

Spotted a whale again, came up to blow about 5 times. I saw it at the exact same place I spotted the orca about a month ago, swimming the same direction south-north.

Looks like the beach could work on a full high right now.

skimmed montara this AM. goddamnit that beach is frustrating. was a haul to get to a wave and that wave usually broke right before you got there. too much jumbled mess, nothing consistent. what i would give for a 2 hr sesh with fun consistent waves.......

It's been like this for the past few weeks, I spent more time waiting for the right set than actually skimming...maybe time to look for something else down the coast
