new guy

Post by cha_siu_bao » Mon Aug 01, 2011 11:35 am

Been checking this forum for a month or so now. Love the Bodega updates. I've lived in the bay area for about 8 years now, skimming for about 4 years, and have been riding wood core boards up until two weeks ago. I always skim alone and have yet to learn to one-step onto any board.

Not about to just come out and demand the goods, but I could sure use some pointers on spots I could hit to graduate from grommet school.
It's a barbecue pork bun.

welcome to the cramik community!

main spots around here that I skim are baker, gray whale, montara, and states (half moon bay).

baker hasn't looked good for awhile so avoid that place until some solid reports come in.

gray whale has been fun lately and is worth a check (low/mid tide usually)

montara was fun yesterday and is also worth checking out (low tide->upcoming)

states was fun last week but needs a nice high tide from the looks of it yesterday.
