Cove was firing today with the Sebass crew and Chris on his new board killing it. It was nice and warm air and water so I trunked. So far the swell wasn't showing signs of destroying the slope although it hasn't fully arrived yet. Looks like it's really steep from the north though so I don't think it will really have much of an impact at the Cove. I'll be keeping an eye on it the next couple days though regardless

So I didn't check the Cove today because swell was looking real big and I ended up just surfing Doran, but Sebass Steve skimmed the Cove and said it was epic with siders and big shorebreak. I guess the slope wasn't really effected too much surprisingly and the swell is dropping quickly until Saturday, so I'm pretty sure the Cove sand has escaped any serious damage. I will check it tomorrow for sure to have a better idea and report back.....
