Ha dude I've been really wondering how things were gonna change out there! I've always though that they can only improve the beach since it's such a flat bottom contour, only do we get good waves coz of the sand bars, rips, and super exposure and refraction...but if only it had a slope!!! I'm talking for both skim and surf...Anyway no sand project can kill the beach there is just too much swell out there, if one end goes down the other will sprout some killer surf!
What goes up must come down haha and so the sand moves. I drove by there on the way to checking a certain somewhere and found that the north end got a crazy stack of sand some 30 feet high. Apperantly they arnt pushing it out to make a nice slop for skimmers. Looks like a little liner going left to right out there in front of the sand. Iam thinking that maybe come first big swell it will give a freindly angle to the slop and lets just say game on! for maybe 3 days. I got that place one year on a nothing swell dtl back side regular foot for like 50yds. Again super freak and never saw it again. Serious cramik land skimmers we got to keep an eye on this one.
Yea on of my bodyboarding friends told me a wedge was forming up on the north side...so yea I'm pretty pumped to see what it turns like, will it be the new Puerto Escondido, Wedge, or still that nasty old kickass OB with forever paddling...
