Mysteries, aka "The Rock", aka "Cabo Junior"

That one spot was pretty solid Saturday with the combo swell. There were all kind of angles and different types of waves coming through, you'd think you were in some kind of video game.

Haha yeah I wanta see proof with somebody on it! So it needs a big swell to get in there or what? Let me know the next time you are going to hit it up and there's a high probability of it working and I'll come film and take pictures..That is as long as the hike doesn't involve too gnarly of a climb down or anything like that my one arm can't handle...

I would think it needs a medium size swell, something to get it off the trough, but if it's too big it's ungettable from what I've seen. The hike down is pretty steep, do-able with one hand but there are some spots where you're hanging on to shrub brush for your life.
Don't get sucked into this one Deebo is my advice!

funny how you guys are keeping the location of this spot "a secret" yet the only things you have said about it is that its a pain in the ass to get to and not really worth it. where is it?! out with it!

If its a pain in the ass to get to and not worth it who cares where it is.
Beside one of those pic has a landmark in the background where you could probably figure it out, if you had time to waste.

Now on to the more important subject.

haha - it's not worth it according to me... I just like giving Tom & Square a hard time about this place, but I've only been there twice or thrice and they have been then more and are more optimistic than me :D . I don't doubt Square got the goods there, the pics do look fun, I have to admit. But I like the name SLS better, too.

Yeah it's only but the most famous and recognizable landmark in Northern Ca lol! anyway I wouldn't sweat too much over it, people don't like walking and getting skunked...Monty is still the most reliable spot around (my humble opinion)

The pictures do make it look like a lot of fun and a lot of options! The landmark does give away where its general location is, but not exactly!

I would love to hit this spot and give it a shot, I love exploring!

As far as the skim this weekend! I skimmed Kelley today, great slope! waves were breaking then reforming, got a sickkkk barrel today! I went an hour before high tide, maybe a little sooner would be better. I can imagine it being good again tomorrow. I had a lot of fun. Great to get back out there.

saw it today. hike down doesn't look that bad actually, seems like coming back up would be a bitch tho. swell was too big and tide was too high so we didn't trek down. the beach is huge with tons of options for waves so keeping this place secret seems pointless to me. how many guys are out when montara or states is good, 5-6 max? firing, 2-3? and those beaches are known and easy to get to. the only crowd problem we have in the bay area is at lefts, a spot with 2 takeoff zones that is extremely easy to find and where everyone knows the working conditions.

deebo didn't keep the cove a secret, maybe follow his lead :?:
