Dub FX?? No kidding? That's pretty damn cool.
Edit: On further investigation, I'm guessing you don't mean this Dub FX

Good to see this happening Ryan. Always a good time. I should be there to help set up in the AM.
You didn't miss much at the WCS in Laguna. The pro kids are killin it as Brandon Sears told me, " these guys are getting younger and younger to beat." The build-up of which Stinnett brother who would take 1st or 2nd was the best part of the awards ceremony.
Blair Conklin was amazing to watch(4th) and Teddy Vlasis along with Kyle(network'd the event world wide) took a straight shot of Vodka to celebrate WCS event and Ted's 3rd place victory at the Bryan Bro's new video premiere. I think it was Geo's wife that gave me a big hug for commentating cudo's on Geo's cinematography or some chick, not sure. I was to busy trying to get this Florida honey. So wasted and had a blast. Beaker was cool enough to give some of the skimmers a ride home as he was on orange juice and tonic that night. Very cool of him to provide that local hospitality. I'm still working these guys to join me at Lake Cunningham 60K skate park when they come down for Skimbash in late September.
PS. I am hosting the Japan crew at my place for Skimbash since it is their first time to SC. Thank God for Google translate. Yeah it sucked Takayuki took 2nd and ex-pro Brad took 1st. It was all in the name of fun and rock and roll....... or should I state my abilities to skim and roll..... Ha
Survived Northstar MNT BK and Downieville XDH with minor bruises and only went over the handle bars 5X. Mr. Toads was still covered in to much snow to be ridden. To hung over to climb the 5K uphill in OC this year.

Re: Senseless Skimfest 2011-this Saturday!
Last minute reminder that beach sign-ups will be from 7-8, yes we will be at the beach @ 7 AM. Cost is $30 AM & $50 PRO. Coffee will be available at the sign in table provided by North Coast Roasting Co. & Chris Carhart, thank you Chris!
One change from previous years, there is no food vendor at the beach this year. Sorry, we tried our best to get someone. So please tell family & friends to pack a lunch or take a trip to Elizabeths Market down the street, as the food provided by Aloha Island Grille is only enough to feed the skimmers & contest volunteers.

Sider was working somewhat all week with early tide. Do-able if you are used to it for points. Slope is medium and the rocks have moved north, so rock boards can be brought for backup as always at 26th. Meaning the rocks should be out of the way for the contest area but are present heavily just a few feet away to the north of the usual contest area.
It's a noon to 1PM high tide so this should be really good for the contest. I hit high tide runs early morning this week and get your sprint on because you will need bionics to reach do-able faces that look great but crash quickly. The slope helps and pros will manage like always making it look so damn easy. Down the lines are there with 1 to 2ft waves for those that like to stack points for shove-its and pop-offs when the tide goes low.
Should be a good time as this is the best contest to relax and have a good
time. I just want free stickers.....
